Forty-Two Meters of Guessing Every Single Lap
My brake point at Turn 1 moved forty-two meters lap to lap. That’s nine-tenths of a second of pure guessing, and it explains almost everything else the data told me about Saturday at Eagles Canyon. Three HPDE sessions at Eagles Canyon Raceway in a 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, 16 timed laps of RaceChrono data, and a 4.53-second gap that traces back to inconsistent brake points.
Brake Late, Turn In, Try Not to Screw It Up
I ran 31 laps at Motorsport Ranch, found a 1:31.87, and discovered I’ve already driven a 1:28.54. Just not during the same lap. Apparently the Skipper is ready. The loose nut behind the wheel still needs some tightening.
