How I Got My 992.1 C4S Track-Ready Without Blowing the Budget

When I prepped for Maverick PCA’s HPDE at Eagles Canyon on September 20–21, 2025, one shop quoted me a full brake swap—pads, rotors, and even new sensors from day one. Another shop showed me why that wasn’t necessary, saved me money, and even stored my track pads for later. Thanks to Fifth Gear Autosports, I not only made it onto the track in my 992.1 C4S, but I also stretched my budget across more events… even if the Pagid pads make it sound like a screeching school bus on daily drives.
