I had my Starlink Mini set up at Cooper Island Beach Club (CIBC) in the BVI, and it worked flawlessly. While CIBC does offer WiFi, it’s only available at the rum bar—meaning there’s no internet access at the main restaurant, on the beach, or anywhere else open to the public. That’s why I always bring my Starlink Mini now.
One of the things I love about Cooper Island is the small cocktail tables in the water, perfect for keeping your drink nearby while you lounge. 🍹 But I found another use for it—I set up my Starlink Mini and battery pack on one of these tables, giving me high-speed internet while I enjoyed the view. The battery lasts 4-5 hours, which is plenty of time to check emails, browse the web, get weather updates, or even stream a movie if I wanted to.
The Starlink Mini is incredibly portable, making it easy to travel with, and it provides fast, reliable service, even in more remote areas like this. Setting it up takes just a couple of minutes, and once it’s running, the speeds are great for video calls, streaming, and staying connected.
Having high-speed internet while relaxing in the shallow water with a drink in hand? Not a bad way to stay connected! 🏝️😎
