We’ve stayed in our fair share of Airbnbs over the years, but our recent trip to Panzano in Chianti, Italy, set a whole new standard. This was hands-down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had—so good, in fact, we’re already dreaming of when we can return.

Welcome to our Tuscan dream. 🌿🍷 This villa in Panzano in Chianti stole our hearts the moment we arrived—elegant, peaceful, and surrounded by blooming gardens and endless views. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect home base in Italy.
The listing caught our eye with its gorgeous photos and glowing description, but the moment we arrived, it was clear the images didn’t fully capture the magic of the place. The villa was more elegant, more spacious, and more serene than we had imagined. From the sweeping views of the Chianti countryside to the tasteful furnishings throughout the home, every detail was perfect.

Golden hour in Chianti 🍷🌄 Watching the sun dip behind the hills, casting a warm glow over the vines, was pure magic. This view will stay with us long after we’ve left.
We were a group of eight, yet it never once felt crowded. The layout of the villa—with multiple patios, balconies, and indoor sitting areas—offered everyone a chance to enjoy both group time and private moments. One of our favorite features? The kitchen. My wife declared it her dream kitchen—functional, beautiful, and the kind of place where you could spend hours cooking (or just sipping wine and watching someone else cook).

Speaking of wine, our host Jacy and her colleague Chiara made sure we were never without it. Jacy was incredibly attentive, helpful, and warm. She arranged two unforgettable casalinga-style dinners cooked right in the villa—simple, authentic, and deeply satisfying. She also gave us spot-on recommendations for local experiences and ensured the pool was cleaned daily. It felt less like a rental and more like we were guests in a well-loved home.

When the office comes with vineyard views, birdsong, and a pool just steps away 💻🌿🍷 Remote work doesn’t get more peaceful—or more beautiful—than this.
One of the highlights was a private vineyard tour with Michael, the winemaker. He walked us through their unique process, which stays true to traditional winemaking methods from before the 1940s. What stood out most? He didn’t try to sell us a thing.

A beautiful lineup of Monte Bernardi wines and olive oil from Panzano in Chianti — from the vibrant Tzinganella to the elegant Sa’etta, each bottle tells a story of tradition, terroir, and Tuscan craftsmanship 🍷🇮🇹🌿
There was no sales pitch—just passion, knowledge, and great conversation. That said, the tasting spoke for itself. We ended up having 24 bottles of wine and a dozen bottles of their rich, peppery olive oil shipped back home to Texas.

Mike just dipping his toes into Tuscan paradise. 🍃💦 Surrounded by cypress trees, rolling hills, and complete serenity. This place is magic.
We couldn’t think of a single thing to improve. In fact, the only suggestion we had (and it’s a small one) would be for Jacy to consider opening the villa up during the shoulder months of May and September—such a magical time to be in Tuscany.
If you ever get the chance to stay here, do it. The villa, the views, the wine, the food, the people—it all adds up to something truly unforgettable. We’re already counting down the days until we can go back.
