I had an amazing time at this year’s MaverickPCA Concours in Grapevine, Texas—and I’m thrilled to share that my 2023 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 in Racing Yellow took home Best in Class (Boxster, All Years)!

Despite some wet weather, the field was packed with beautiful Porsches from every generation. It was a great chance to catch up with fellow enthusiasts, walk the line of stunning builds, and enjoy the energy that only a PCA event can bring.

My Boxster was already in pretty good shape, but a little concours prep never hurts. Huge thanks to Humble Crew Auto Spa and Cady Mobile Detailing for stepping in to make sure she looked flawless. The extra polish, interior refresh, and final rinse really made her stand out—even on a cloudy day.

Walking up to receive that trophy (which, by the way, is shaped like a Porsche!) was the cherry on top of an already incredible event. There’s something about being surrounded by people who just get it—who know that behind the paint and polish, it’s really about the passion.
