In November of 2024, Lou and I decided to mix things up with some eFoiling lessons at BVI eFoil, located at the stunning Bitter End Yacht Club in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda. It was Lou’s first time and my second attempt, and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Naia! 🙌

She promised we’d be up and foiling by the end of the lesson, and she absolutely delivered. We started on our bellies, moved to our knees, and then finally stood up to foil. 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️ Watching Lou get the hang of it for the first time was awesome, and for me, it felt amazing to finally stand and glide over the water.

That said, it wasn’t all smooth sailing—I scraped my knees and belly quite a bit trying to climb back onto the board after every fall. 😅 But it was totally worth it for the thrill of finally getting up and foiling!
